– Jessica, Postpartum Return To Fitness Class mom

The Postpartum Return to Fitness Class series is a 6 week in-person workout series programmed specifically for postpartum moms just starting their recovery/return to fitness and wanting to get back to the weights, intensity and movements they love to do safely and effectively.

These classes are for you if:

  • You are 6 weeks to 1 year postpartum and/or are just starting your return to fitness journey after having a baby

  • You are looking to properly recover your deep core and pelvic floor

  • You want to feel comfortable and strong lifting weights, performing impact work, going on runs/other cardio, and developing a strong & functional level of fitness
  • You want to build back to your desired level of fitness without symptoms or fear, and full of confidence in your body and its abilities
  • You value in-person guidance to make sure you’re doing everything properly and effectively

Here’s the Details:

  • 2026 Session Dates: TBD – Spring 2026

  • Workout Days/Times: there will be 12 total in person workouts (2 each week) held on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30am-11:30am within the session dates (mentioned above).

  • Location: The FIGR gym, located in Brighton, MI. Full address will be given upon registration!
  • Price: $375 ($31.25/class) – due at registration

  • All little ones (newborn & olders) are welcome in this all-moms class setting!

Hey, I’m Katelyn and I’ll be your trainer for the Postpartum Return To Fitness Classes!

I am a dual-certified pregnancy and postpartum fitness coach and have coached hundreds of women both in person and online through their fittest pregnancies and strongest, most comprehensive postpartum recoveries.

My background is full of fitness. I’ve played sports my whole life, and became obsessed with lifting during high school/college. I majored in Exercise Science at the University of Michigan, then got my Master of Management from Duke University to help develop my love for fitness into a business.

I created FIGR in 2018 and made it my full time career when my husband, Anthony, jumped on board in 2019. Since then we have helped over a thousand clients both in person and online find their strength and love for the gym themselves.

When we had our daughter, Amelia, in 2021, I became head over heels for the pregnancy and postpartum space.

I find nothing more fulfilling than helping moms return to the weights, intensity and movements they love to do without fear or symptoms and full of confidence and strength.

Whatever activity it is you want to do, I will be that person in your corner every step of the way!
